Welcome to the Downtown Vallejo Redesign
The Downtown Vallejo Streetscape Project provides and exciting opportunity to reinvigorate the historic and civic heart of the community. Based on public input the Downtown Streetscape Project will contribute largely to the revitalization of the downtown area with new landscaping, street furniture, street signs, decorative paving, street lighting, pavement repairs, pavement overlay, storm drain modifications, curb extensions, diagonal parking and pedestrian enhancements.
The limits of the Downtown Streetscape Project include the Phase 1 design which is located on Virgina Street between Sacramento and Sonoma. The Phase 2 design will include the remaining streets within Vallejo Square (bounded by Sonoma Street, Virginia Street, Sacramento Street and York Street.)
